Arcadia, a city steeped in equestrian history, was founded by Elias Jackson “Lucky” Baldwin during the Gold Rush era. Since then, the city has shifted into a wealthy enclave filled with pricey mansions, but it hasn’t forgotten its horse racing roots. In 2017, Arcadia’s real estate market continued to move at a healthy clip, with more than 100 sales surpassing the $2-million mark and 15 sales of $4 million or more.
